If you’re looking for a solid base camp tent – with plenty of room, easy to set up and durable, then the North Face VE 25, 3-person/4-season tent just might be for you.
My family and I have used this tent from all over the U.S. We’ve had it pitched in the winter desert and used it in high mountain camps. It’s withstood tremendous winds, likely in the rang of 60mph. Rain certainly isn’t a factor and it can take a dumping of snow.
There’s plenty of room for adults/kids (two small kids) and all your gear. If you’re storm-bound then you’ll be happy with additional space! For being a larger 3 person tent, with a little practice you can set it up quickly. You won’t want to take this tent for a quick two person car camp or backpacking, but anything beyond that and you’ll be happy you packed this beast!
