A great sized pack for those quick hikes or long runs. One of the best features of the Osprey Manta 30 Hydration pack is the overall stability of the pack. Once you cinch it down – the load stays surprisingly stable – even while running. While on the smaller size for a true day pack – for those that like to “go light” – this pack could suffice as an all-around day pack. I can fit multiple layers, food and my possibles kit. You could probably fit even more.
I really like the number of pockets it has – lot’s of room to stash those smaller items like your phone, wallet, etc. It’s a fairly well organized pack for being on the smaller side. The stash and go area is perfect and once tightened up, holds your gear securely. The bladder is easily refilled.
